Claudia Rehrmann
Claudia Rehrmann, born in 1989, is a musician with further education and a great interest in healing, spirituality and movement.
She moved to Portugal at the end of 2022 and since 2023, she has been a farmer, building together with her long-term partner a large project called Valdonedo in Penha Longa (Porto), where they are bringing to life what is closest to their hearts. At the same time, she continues to work as a Qigong teacher, offers health consultancy, and still teaches just a few instrumental students.
Spiritual, Chinese Medicine and Movement Journey:
Claudia Rehrmann came across traditional Chinese medicine during her studies in 2013 and met her most important meditation teacher Frank Brazkiewicz. Since then, she has been practicing with him qigong, various movement techniques and meditation in depth. Frank was trained by Steve Tidbury, who was a lineage holder of a Tibetan Kagyu lineage (dKar-brgyud) as well as the Sufi lineage of Ansari Qadiri Rifai Tariqa (https://aqrtsufi.org/) and whom she was fortunate enough to meet and work with.
In 2025, her teacher Frank passed away – with deep gratitude and everlasting connection.
After studying music 2014, she completed her Qigong training in Germany in 2015 (DEUTSCHE QIGONG GESELLSCHAFT e.V.) and took various private lessons with Yoga and Feldenkrais teachers. Since then she has been giving individual and group classes and workshops in the field of movement. In her courses, she combines her knowledge of different movement styles to provide optimal support for her course participants, with the main focus on Qigong. She continues to take part in further training courses to expand her knowledge and skills.
Confirmed trainer 2021 in Bremen in the URSA method, since then practical application and mediation. Confirmed trainer for natural sound transducers with Anton Stucki ("Experience sound naturally", www.naturschallwandler.com). She was educated to become an alternative healing practitioner, but stopped this official training due to her move to Portugal and the realization that the profession of alternative practitioner, as it exists in Germany, is not accepted in Portugal. She has therefore decided against obtaining an official qualification as a naturopath in Germany for the time being, but she is still in training and will obtain the relevant certifications in Portugal. She continues by attending seminars and further trainings in the field of healing and movement.
Musical journey:
Through her training and work as a musician, Claudia Rehrmann is able to offer classes in both jazz and classical music. She completed her diploma in Germany (Bremen) in 2015 for artistic/pedagogical training on the saxophone and clarinet.
Due to her many years of participation in the Lower Saxony Youth Wind Orchestra and her later collaboration with the Hanover Police Music Corps, the Bremen Theater, quartets as well as big bands and band work in the jazz and rock-pop area, Claudia Rehrmann is also able to help with playing in orchestras, ensembles or bands. She is currently enjoying life as a farmer and the very different work, which in another sense is also closely connected to music.
She has been giving individual and group classes since 2007 and has worked privately, at music schools and at general education schools in socially deprived areas.
She is currently not accepting any individual students who only want to learn their instrument in a technical way - there are plenty of tutorials online and plenty of teachers who teach this. You can read why this is the case in one of her blog entries in the future.
If larger groups are interested, the situation is different. In the form of section or band coaching, for example.
She has a lot of experience in section coaching for symphonic wind orchestras and big bands.
In the future, when she has more space and time, she would also like to set up ensemble projects for young musicians.
