Shamatha

Meditation

My journey began with learning the Shamatha process, and that is what I share to you at the beginning.
Naturally, everything I’ve learned along the way influences my approach.
This will give you a sense of what to expect when working with me.

I am not religious. Everything I’ve studied, whether from Buddhism, Sufism, or other traditions -
I have approached as practical techniques, not as belief systems.
This is also the way I pass it on to others.

The practice known as Shamatha literally means “calm abiding.”
It is a central form of meditation within Buddhist traditions, emphasizing concentration and mental tranquility
and serves as a foundational training for deeper contemplative insight.
